We also wrote our own reports designer. Unlike generic report designers, ours is optimized for the types of reports our clients need. So creating a new report from scratch can usually be done in a single day.

Our data download application similarly has been optimized, so creating a new data download format can usually be done in an amazingly short amount of time.

At PortVantage SM, we don't lock you into two predefined levels for your security types. You can set the security types you want, anywhere from a single level, to four levels.

You can also define how those security types are used, and what defaults you want for new securities, and pre-filled transaction information.

You can even determine what level (or levels) you want totals to show up on in your reports. You can change the report title. And for reports such as Maturity Distributions, you can set your own ranges.

The PortVantage SM website and software have been written with security the number one priority. We are very secure from both a software, and a user perspective.

You can decide what users get access to each function, with a sophisticated but easy to use permission system. And if you have correspondants or other institutions you will be running accounting for, each user can have seperate and unique permissions for each one.

We also run frequent vulnerability checks on our website and software. If we find a potential vulnerabiltiy, or someone makes us aware of one, fixing that problem gets first priority.

• on the last Friday before month-end
